This is a sampling of the art quilts and other items I have for sale in my Etsy shop.
My style is contemporary. Some of my quilts are pieced, some are fusible appliqué, and some are a combination of techniques. I love bright, intense, complex colors. My favorite color is chartreuse; you’ll find at least a bit of it in almost every one of my quilts. I often use dark backgrounds, as they make the bright colors “pop”.
Your work is great, and I am really writing to thank you for the detailed instructions on your favorite facing method. They are superbly written with excellent photos. I’m pleased to have my first one work out beautifuly.
Can I get a pattern from you for one of your quilts?
Thanks for your interest in my quilts. I’m afraid I can’t help you, as I don’t sell patterns of my work.
But feel free to use my quilts as inspiration for your own. If you make something similar, I would appreciate you giving me credit for inspiration. And I’d love to see what you make!
Your quilts are inspiring! I have appliquéd for years but never tried anything like your work. I am curious about the 1/4 inch bias tape. Do you make your own? I love the dramatic look that is created in the gorgeous colours. I particularly am drawn to the circle designs you did – if you ever sell the instructions, keep me in mind!
Thank you. I generally use purchased bias tape. (I tried to make my own but it wasn’t very successful. Like most things, it would take a lot of practice.) Maybe some day I will look at creating patterns or online instructions. If I do, I will post it on my blog.
