I started working on this little quilt earlier this week. It’s finished and ready to ship to the SAQA 25th Anniversary Trunk Show.
I was originally going to finish the edges with a facing, but then I realized it will be mounted on a black background, so I used a dark gray binding instead.
I’m linking up to these sites, where you can see many creative projects:
I LOVE your Rainy Day People, Terry!
This is of course lovely. What kind of batting do you put in your minis and wall hangings?
Nicole, I use cotton batting, usually the thinnest batting I can find. I’ve used several different brands – I just buy whatever is on sale.
Thanks for the info Terry. I too use whatever is left over and laying about but I had recently heard that a poly batting better for hangings because it stays flatter. So I thought I’d ask an expert!
I love it, Terry … this is such an endearing series!
Another really cute quilt Terry! Love those rainy day people!
Now that thread is doing what it’s paid for! Love how the variagation is working for you

Lovely design and colors. At first I saw it as an abstract, which I found cool too.
looks great Terry!
Terry, these pieces are fantastic; the umbrellas look so luminous and the greys and darks look great on the people too. Happy New Year to you too.
