Looking back at 2012, I’m very happy with my productivity. In fact, when I add it all up, I’m amazed at myself!
I made more than 20 quilts, had 11 art quilts accepted into quilt shows, and was published 4 times in magazines. I sold 15 quilts through my Etsy shop. And, of course, I started this blog.
Here’s a collage of some of the quilts I made in 2012.
Quilt shows where my work was shown during 2012:
- APWQ Pacific West Quilt Show
- Canadian Quilters’ Association National Juried Show in Halifax
- Fibre Art network – ‘Canadian Content’ traveling exhibition
- Fibre Art Network – ‘From Away’ traveling exhibition
- Fibre Art Network – ‘Waterworks’ exhibition
- International Quilt Festival
- La Conner Quilt Festival
I had work published in these magazines:
Goals for 2013
- continue to create quilts (I have 5 in the planning and design stages right now!)
- sell quilts in my Etsy shop
- submit work to quilt shows. I joined SAQA – Studio Art Quilt Associates in 2012 and plan to enter work in at least one of their shows and their annual auction of 12 x 12 inch quilts.
- submit work to magazine reader challenges
congratulations Terry! That is a wonderfully successful year! I hope 2013 brings even more of the same for you
